Although light offering originated as a religious ritual, it has become a widely practiced cultural tradition that continues to hold deep meaning in contemporary society.
During the Lunar New Year season, it's a common sight to see families visiting temples together to participate in the tradition of light offerings. This meaningful practice allows worshippers to pray for various blessings in the coming year - from personal health and career prosperity to academic success. The ritual of lighting these lamps holds profound symbolism: just as light dispels darkness, these offerings are believed to help devotees overcome life's challenges and guide them toward a brighter future.

Light offerings can be arranged either through our online service or by consulting with our staff at the main temple hall counter.
Self-Service spiritual Cleansing Ritual
With approval from our temple committee and the patriarch deity's blessing, we have established a self-service spiritual cleansing area on the fifth floor. This new facility offers devotees a private and accessible space to perform the traditional shock-relieving ritual. The flexible arrangement allows visitors to conduct the ceremony at their preferred time while receiving the divine protection and blessings of our patriarch deity.
Service Location: Qingshui Temple, Zhouzi, Zuoying (5th Floor)
Service Hours: Available during regular temple opening hours daily.
Cost: The service is provided free of charge. While donations are appreciated, they are entirely optional. Please feel free to use this service regardless of your financial situation.
