Visitor's Prayer Guide

Worship Route: Second-Floor Main Hall → Third-Floor Tai Sui Hall → Fifth-Floor Observation Deck

Second-Floor Main Hall

1-1. Lighting Incense

After ascending the stairs, enter the main hall through the two doors on the right side. Then, proceed to the left side next to the gold paper, take six incense sticks, and light them (with a voluntary donation for incense oil).

1-2. Worshiping the Heavenly Lord (Jade Emperor)

Carry the incense, step out through the side door, and proceed to the BuKou Heavenly Lord incense burner to worship the Jade Emperor. Then, light three incense sticks.

1-3. Enter the inner hall for worship

Take the remaining three incense sticks and then enter the main hall through the right-side door to worship sincerely.

Worship Order: Patriarch,God of Land, Fertility Goddess,

1-4. Offer Incense

Respectfully insert the three incense sticks held in your hand into the incense burner, thereby completing the worship ceremony.

Third-Floor Tai Sui Hall

2-1. Proceed to the Third-Floor Tai Sui Hall

Use the elevator on the right side of the inner hall to proceed to the Third-Floor Tai Sui Hall.

2-2. Light Incense

Upon entering the Tai Sui Hall, light three incense sticks on the left side of the entrance.

2-3. Worship Ceremony

Proceed to the center of the Tai Sui Hall. After worshiping the head of Tai Sui, respectfully insert the three incense sticks held in your hand into the incense burner to complete the worship ceremony.

The elevator is located in the top right corner of the main hall.

Fifth-Floor Main Hall of the Patriarch

3-1. Proceed to the Fifth-Floor Observation Deck

You can use the elevator to reach the Fifth-Floor Main Hall of the Patriarch.

3-2. Spiritual Cleansing

At the small counter in front of the elevator, take three incense sticks, light them, and then sincerely pay homage to the Buddha.

Fifth-Floor Self-Service Spiritual Cleansing

4-1. Take Incense

At the small counter in front of the elevator on the fifth floor, take three incense sticks.

4-2. Spiritual Cleansing

Holding three incense sticks, present your name, address, date of birth, and current situation to the Patriarch, and sincerely request his assistance in Spiritual Cleansing (Warding Off Misfortune).

4-3. Meditation

Holding three incense sticks, sit on the self-service Spiritual Cleansing Chair.

4-4. Offer Incense

Respectfully insert the three incense sticks held in your hand into the incense burner to complete the ceremony.

Fifth-Floor Observation Deck

5-1. Outdoor Observation Deck

After worshiping the Patriarch, you can head to the outdoor observation deck to enjoy the expansive surrounding scenery, including Lotus Pond, Big and Small Turtle Mountains, Banping Mountain, and the lake views. After the worship, you may also refer to our curated list of nearby attractions to continue exploring and appreciating the beauty of Kaohsiung.
